A CLASSIC FROM ALENTEJO
Tapada de Coelheiros red is a historical wine that was first produced in 1991. Since the beginning, Cabernet Sauvignon has been an important part of the blend, and so it remains to this day, having become one of the icons of this variety in Portugal.
THE SEARCH FOR BALANCE
The wine originates in Vinha Leonilde, which was planted in 1982 in honor of D. Leonilde Silveira, for her dedication to the land, estate and region. The experience of several harvests and a better understanding of our soils allowed for the introduction of Alicante Bouschet, leading us to the current blend.

VINIFICATION
Each block is fermented separately in order to better express its singularity. It ages for 18 months in French barrels and 18 months in bottle.
AROMA AND PALATE
Powerful nose with black fruit notes involved in spices and tobacco. The intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon's freshness stands out in the mouth, followed by the silky texture of Alicante Bouschet, leading to an elegant and persistent finish.
